Rules Submitting an Abstract to the XXVIII Brazilian Congress of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine
Please follow the instructions:
To submit an abstract, it is essential that the lead author is registered for the event, even if the registration payment is only made after the abstract has been accepted. Co-authors do not need to submit an abstract already submitted.
Abstract submission will be accepted exclusively through the Congress website
To submit your abstract, you must access the restricted area of the Congress website with the username and password received during registration. Click Abstract Submission. Follow the instructions on the website to access the abstract submission form. Complete all steps on the form. Before submitting the abstract, please review it carefully. Once submitted, your abstract can no longer be changed.
- As the only person responsible for submitting the abstract, the lead author must complete all steps in the online form. Updates and submission responses will only be sent to the main author"s registered email address. We ask that he/she take it upon him/herself to inform his/her co-authors.
- After submission of the abstract, the lead author will receive an automatic e-mail, confirming the information registered. Check that all are correct. If not, we ask you to access your restricted area and make the relevant changes before the deadline for submission of abstracts
- If you do not receive the automatic submission confirmation email on the same day, the abstract may not have been sent correctly. In this case, please reach out through the Contact Us section of the Congress website, informing the event and the error. We also suggest you check the SPAM box of your email if the message was redirected by mistake.
- When accessing the website again, enter the same username and password. If you have forgotten them, use the "Forgot my Password" option and follow the instructions
For screening and programming purposes, the abstracts will be divided into the following thematic areas: Severe disabilities Mild disabilities
Title of the Work: The title should be limited to fifteen words and describe the topic of the work in a concise and clear way. The use of excessively general titles, as well as abbreviations and acronyms that are not widely known, should be avoided. A good title allows readers to identify the topic and helps documentation centers to catalog and classify the work.
Names of the lead author and co-authors: They must appear right below the title, indicating the name of the institution and the e-mail address of each author and co-author.
Keywords: Include up to 6 keywords that can help classify your work.
Introduction: Present the rationale for carrying out the study.
Objectives: Split them in primary and secondary objectives.
Methods: The description must be clear and concise, yet detailed, allowing the reader to follow what was done.
Results and Discussion: The results directly related to the objective must be presented in a synthetic and clear way, using tables or graphs.
Conclusion: It must be based on the results obtained and answer the objective of the study.
References: List the reference material according to the applicable standards.
The works will be evaluated by a team of professionals chosen by the Scientific Committee. The 10 best ones will be selected and the authors communicated. These works will be presented in a plenary session
All the authors of the three best works will be awarded with their registration for the next Congress.
